Colleges across the country are swinging back into action, and as they do, students everywhere are logging on to The Face Book, an incredibly popular social networking tool. Designed by a Harvard undergrad who determined a need for a web based application that would help kids to meet one another online, The Face Book has for many students become an essential part of the college experience.

Cambridge Public Library news

Fall is a great time to schedule a trip to your favorite museum, and soon the patrons of the Cambridge Public Library will be able to research and reserve passes using TixKeeper, the web based pass reservation system we’ve recently rolled out. Principal developer Ric Bailey has designed Tixkeeper to be feature rich and simple to use, very much like EventKeeper, our web based calendar application.

Welcome to the Trinity Episcopal Church…

We’re delighted to welcome the Trinity Episcopal Church of Beaver Falls, PA to the list of organizations that use an EventKeeper calendar. Now we share some common turf with Joe Namath!

Speaking of churches, a proposed law up for debate in the Massachusetts legislature would require religious organizations to file annual reports and report on real estate holdings to the attorney general’s charities division. Several states have similar laws. Ought to make for an interesting fall in Boston.

San Diego Public Library renewal

Working through the heat today is no picnic, but the day just got better when we learned the San Diego Public Library renewed their subscription to EventKeeper. San Diego is among the largest libraries we  work with, and they have a great implementation going with lots of branches. We’ve really enjoyed working with them over the past couple of years. Be great if a business trip to San Diego was in the cards!
